E-Z 90-Degree Log Tenon Cutter
Similar to the E-Z 45° Log Tenon Cutter, the 90° also is adjustable to cut from about 1″ diameter tenons up to 3″ diameter tenons at the ends of logs and branches. These cutters will fit on any 1/2″ drill.
Flat 90° tenons are ideal for applications requiring a connection to be made to flat surfaces, such as a post, wall, stair, or to attach table legs.
Included with each EZ-90 Log Tenon Cutter:
- E-Z 90 Degree Tenon Cutter
- Two double-sided hardened steel blades. The 90-Degree cutter uses two blades to cut a tenon (one on each arm).
- 3/8″ drill bit for drilling pilot holes. By drilling a pilot hole into the end of the log to guide the cutter, you are assured of cutting a nice, straight tenon. Whether you are making a regular straight tenon, or an angled tenon, the cutter will follow. You won’t have to rely on “eye-balling” while cutting, and you won’t have gouged our inconsistent tenons, and a solid gluing surface throughout.
- 3/32″ Hex Key to adjust tenon size. The cutting arms are attached to the adjustment bar with two screws. You simply loosen the screws and slide the arms to your desired width. Please read the Manual for complete instructions on how to get proper diameter, and how to make a set-up block for an easy way to reset the size.
- 3/16″ Hex Key to install/remove/replace blades. Tiny little key to remove/replace the cutting blades.
